Solo’s roots go back to London in 2011, where Vicky Hiscock trained as an Inventory Clerk. She returned to Jersey in 2017 with full training and accreditation — building on the on-island inventory practice she founded in 2014. Today, with approximately 7,000 reports delivered, Solo is the longest-standing dedicated inventory firm in Jersey.

A neatly-formatted PDF sent to the tenant for review. Reports are not signed off on delivery — by law, the tenant has 7 days to add comments or sign. We send reminders if we haven't heard back, and every report is stored in case of dispute.

How quickly can you attend a property?
We typically have availability within 2–3 working days, and same-week is normal. For urgent check-outs we'll do our best to accommodate — just call and we'll find a slot.
What's included in the standard inventory report?
A full schedule of condition for every room: photographs, written notes on walls, floors, fixtures and contents, plus meter readings, smoke alarm test, and a keys log. All delivered as a single navigable PDF.
Do I need to be there during the visit?
No. We can collect keys from your agent or a key safe, and we'll return them however suits. We'll send the report to you and your tenant directly when it's ready.
Are your reports accepted in deposit disputes?
Yes. Our reports are independent, photographic, and prepared to AIIC standards. They're routinely used as evidence in deposit disputes and have a strong track record of being upheld.
Do you cover the whole island?
Yes — every parish, from St Helier to St Ouen. There's no travel surcharge anywhere on the island.
How do I pay?
By bank transfer once the report is delivered. Letting agents and recurring clients can be invoiced monthly.
