How quickly can you attend an emergency?
Within 4 hours during business hours, and we run an on-call rota outside of those. Call us directly on 07700 335434 for anything urgent — we'll triage on the phone before dispatching.
Are your tradespeople insured?
Yes. Every tradesperson on our books carries valid public liability insurance, holds the relevant trade qualifications, and is vetted with references before we put them in front of a client.
Do you offer fixed-price quotes?
Yes. We visit, scope the job, and send a fixed-price quote within 48 hours. There's no call-out fee on quoted jobs over £150.
Can you handle a whole-property end-of-tenancy turnaround?
Yes — that's where Solo is at its best. Inventory check-out, deep clean, any repairs and an updated EPC if it's expired, all under one project manager and one invoice.
Do you do lead work on listed buildings?
Yes — that's our specialism. We work alongside Jersey Heritage on listed and protected properties, using traditional sand-cast lead and bossed detailing where required.
How are EPCs scheduled?
Weekdays only. The assessor needs 45–60 minutes' access to the property. We can collect keys from your agent or a key safe so you don't need to be there.
